The Somerville Public Schools offers free pre-school for a limited number of children at the Michael E. Capuano Early Childhood Center as well as a limited number of classrooms at the Argenziano School, West Somerville Neighborhood School, Winter Hill Community Innovation School and the Arthur D. Healey School. The SMILE Pre-Kindergarten Program runs from 8:30am to 1:45pm. Your child must be four years old by August 31, 2017. High-quality afterschool programming until 5:30pm for 4-year-olds will be available at all preschool sites starting the 2017-2018 school year.
