Enjoy Craters on the Crescent with astronomer Alex Trunnell
Join astonomer Alex Trunnell as we turn our eyes to the skies and learn about our moon's craters! Starting at 7:30pm, Alex will talk a bit about the craters on our moon and how they are formed. We'll even get an up-close look at a real moon rock! At 8:00pm we'll move outside to view the moon and see its craters (best visible with shadows, when moon is in its crescent phase)!

Reminder: Somerville offers a SNAP match of up to $15/week at the Davis, Union, and Winter Hill farmers markets. For every dollar of SNAP families spend, they will get an EXTRA dollar, e.g. if you spend $8, you can purchase $16 of food.
