Sign up for free online climate workshops taught by high school students over February break covering a range of topics in an engaging, interactive way with many games, unique activities and time for discussions and questions.

This Workshop first goes over traditional non-renewable energy sources including coal, oil, natural gas, and nuclear, and then explores specific renewable energy technologies like solar, wind, and hydropower The lesson will also delve a bit into the relation between renewable energy and social justice, including its impacts on society and creating jobs. All of these topics will be discussed in a fun and interactive way, making the content easy to understand.

Additional Workshops:

Fast Fashion on February 15th from 4PM-5PM: Teaches kids about the fast fashion industry through a DIY mask making & trivia activities (aimed towards ages 6-11)

How to Help Story Activity on February 17th at 4PM-5PM: Learn what you can do to help stop climate change by playing the game broken telephone, going over the basics of climate change and creating a story on individual vs systemic change (aimed towards ages 5-10)

Renewable Energy on February 19th from 4PM-5PM: Teaches about the different types of renewable energy with a shark tank game & ranking energy sources activities (aimed towards ages 8-13)

Redlining on February 20th from 4PM-5PM: Lesson goes over the basic history of redlining and how it connects to climate change through a news reporter activity and redlining edition game of life (aimed towards ages 8-12)

--> Workshops are open to all ages, these are just the recommended ages
