Join the Somerville Homeless Coalition and City of Somerville for an opportunity for community members to gain a deeper understanding of persons experiencing homelessness and the service providers supporting them, in hopes to create a pool of volunteers who can assist SHC with staffing needs during extreme weather or emergency events. An additional outcome of this training is to humanize persons experiencing homelessness to establish a system of advocates and supporters embedded in the community.
