Local Author Laura Beretsky in Conversation with Somerville Disability Commission Members

Join Somerville author Laura Beretsky in conversation with local residents and Somerville Disability Commission members Harriotte Ranvig and Holly Simione. Laura will be sharing an excerpt from her book Seizing Control, about her lifelong challenge of managing epilepsy and the patient self advocacy that is required to get the best medical care possible. The discussion will focus on employment protections offered by the Americans with Disabilities Act for people with invisible and perceptible disabilities.
