Green New Deal for Somerville Public Schools Town Hall

This event will bring together local climate organizations, students, parents, and teachers in the public school system, and members of the Somerville community to discuss our shared vision of a sustainable, carbon-free school system. We will focus in particular on the city's upcoming Climate Forward plan and the areas in which it could be improved to specifically address outstanding issues within schools and potential future improvements to school buildings, transportation, and curriculum. There will be a brief presentation and activities for attendees to participate in.
