Kesher After School Hebrew School

Main content

The Kesher After School Program is a nationally-acclaimed alternative to traditional Hebrew School for grades K-12. At Kesher, children learn Jewish culture and Hebrew language as an organic part of each day’s explorations, in a spirited, joy-filled environment. Kesher’s innovative curriculum challenges students intellectually while fostering a deep connection with the pleasures of learning, the rewards of active community participation, and the richness of the Jewish tradition. Kesher families are Secular, Orthodox, Reform, Conservative, Reconstructionist, Gay, Straight, In-married, and Interfaith. From 5th through 7th grade, students may choose to prepare for Bar or Bat Mitzvah, with additional, personalized mentoring and tutoring to match the child’s personal goals and his or her family’s priorities for this developmental milestone.
