SHINE
This is a free program for girls in grades 6 and 7. It combines dance and math instruction in order to help girls gain confidence in both domains by using kinesthetic learning (movement, dance) to reinforce mathematical concepts. The math is aligned with common core standards and is intended to help girls excel in their mathematical schoolwork and daily lives, while gaining general confidence they can bring to any endeavor. The program is hosted on the MIT campus.
