This exhibit, Lasting Scars: Experiences of Wage Theft, features photographs and quotations from Brazilian immigrant workers. Through images they selected and narratives they shared, participants document their experiences of wage theft and reflect on the profound impacts that labor exploitation has had on their health, well-being, and lives.
The exhibit amplifies the voices of workers who have experienced exploitation and seeks to raise public awareness about wage theft while promoting policies and practices that protect workers' rights and prevent labor abuses.
