Join bilingual children’s author Windy Pham for an engaging morning of fun at the East Branch! We'll enjoy a story time featuring The Great Race, a classic folktale that introduces the 12 Zodiac Animals through adventure and friendly competition. Families will discover how the animals earned their place in the lunar calendar and learn which animal represents their birth year.
After the reading, children will participate in hands-on arts and crafts activities and explore traditional foods connected to Lunar New Year celebrations. We'll even squeeze in a lion dance!
FYI: This program will likely take up our entire East Branch! This is a family-friendly event and all ages are welcome.
