Qomedy is a dynamic and inclusive comedy program under Queer Artists & Players (QA&P) designed to provide LGBTQ+ individuals with a platform for creative expression through humor, satire, and theatrical performance. Qomedy fosters a collaborative and supportive environment where participants can write, perform, and produce original comedy that includes, but is not limited to stand-up, improvisation, and sketch, that explore queer and trans experiences, challenge societal norms and celebrate LGBTQ+ joy! Qomedy aims to build community, amplify queer voices, and showcase the diverse comedic talent within the queer community. The program is rooted in the belief that comedy is a powerful tool for self-expression and cultural commentary - making space for laughter, resilience, and visibility in the arts.
