Write. Reflect. Reweave.
Join the Somerville Public Library and hosts Anna Fubini and Brenda Echeverry for an interactive writing workshop that invites Somerville residents to reflect, reconnect, and reimagine. Through guided prompts and discussion, participants will explore themes of transformation, impermanence, and resilience, turning personal stories into shared acts of collective care.
This workshop will include:
- A welcoming, grounding activity to spark creativity
- Group discussion on healing and change, with inspiring art examples
- A guided writing session using thoughtful prompts
- Optional sharing and group reflection
Together, we’ll explore personal and collective themes of healing, impermanence, and examine how endings give way to beginnings, how we mend through expression, and how we grow in community.
No prior writing experience is needed, and all materials are provided; just bring your curiosity and an open heart.
The writing generated in this workshop will have the opportunity to become part of the evolving sculptural public art installation Letters Rewoven in Somerville.
Space is limited, so please be sure to register in advance!
