Join Heather Wolf, one of our favorite speakers and author of Find More Birds: 111 Surprising Ways to Spot Birds Wherever You Are and Birding at the Bridge: In Search of Every Bird on the Brooklyn Waterfront", as she shares her beautiful images of colorful birds - just in time for the Fall colors! 

We'll discuss the birds, their colors, the purpose of their colorful feathers, as well as any evolutionary advantages they may have because of their coats.

About the Presenter: 

HEATHER WOLF is the author of Find More Birds and Birding at the Bridge. A Brooklyn-based birder, photographer, and educator, she works with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology as a web developer, teaches birding classes at Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and gives walks and talks for various organizations in New York City and beyond.

This program is presented in partnership with the Ashland Public Library and other MA libraries.
