Join us for eclipse-viewing outside the East Branch @ 3:00pm!
A solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes directly between the Earth and the Sun. Though the moon is much smaller than the sun, because it is so close to Earth, it will appear to block our view of the sun! While not in the "path of totality", we will witness about 90% totality. It is UNSAFE to view the eclipse without eye protection. Bring your own eclipse glasses or another eclipse viewer to watch the eclipse safely!
