Join us as we welcome Dan Breen for an America 250 talk!
Perhaps no two events had more profound effects on the struggle for American independence than the fighting at Lexington and Concord, (which began the Revolution) and the victory at Saratoga (which helped win the Revolution by persuading the French to intervene on the American side). And Somerville played a part in both of those events. In this presentation, we will delve into the overlooked story of how the course of the Revolution became bound up with the hills and lanes of what was then Charlestown Beyond the Neck.
