This month, the library is pleased to display the artwork of local artist Simi Rabinowitz in the Gallery @ SPL with his exhibition: Natural Wonders. Please join us for a reception celebrating the exhibit.
About the Artist & Exhibit: I love traveling and being out in nature and, since I began taking pictures years ago, it’s been my goal to share with others the beautiful scenes that I've come across. I particularly enjoy capturing bold colors and fleeting moments (rainbows are my favorite). From wide landscapes to small insects and reptiles, there is just so much diversity in subject matter that the natural world has to offer and I'm always excited to get out and find my next great image. This selection of images showcases some of the most striking moments I've been lucky enough to capture. I am a full time wedding photographer living in Somerville with my wife, two children and 4 year old lab-mix Scout. Enjoy!
