During February break children ages 6 to 9 are invited to the Beautiful Stuff Project for a drop-off class in which participants will have fun creating , playing, building and making stuff. Stacy Minicucci who is creator of the popular local programs, Summer Picassos and Preschool Picassos and is also a Beautiful Stuff Treasure Box teacher will be combining both programs to offer Vacation Picassos at the Beautiful Stuff Project
Our Schedule;
9:00 - Drop off, artist of the day and sensory activity
10:00- Artist of the day book
10:15- Snack from home (nut free)
11:00- Treasure Box book
11:15- Treasure Box exploration
12:00- Pick up
About Vacation Picassos:
In this program children learn about the works of great art masters through fun, open ended, hands on activities like making mobiles like Calder, creating collages like Matisse and making prints like Warhol.
Beautiful Stuff Treasure Boxes:
Curated “treasure boxes” of recycled, small collectible items (what we call “beautiful stuff”) that invite children to think and build creatively.
Ages of Participants: 6-9yrs
Session Dates: February 18-22
Times: 9:00 A.M. -- 12:00 P.M.
Place: The Beautiful Stuff Project 511 Medford St. in Somerville
Snow Policy: if there is a city emergency for either Cambridge or Somerville we will not run our program for the day. Families will be refunded accordingly.

Price: $200 for week or $50.00 per day ($30.00 for siblings)
