Welcome to the Somerville Hub - a place to find what youth and their families need to grow, learn, and thrive in Somerville. The Somerville community of educators, caregivers, service providers, and families are committed to the goal that all youth and families have access to programs, services, and family friendly places in our city. Working together, we can nurture our children's bodies, spirits and minds, helping them to achieve success in school and life.
This Somerville Hub online resource is a community effort originally intended for the early learning community, and made possible by Race to the Top - Early Learning Challenge Grant funding support from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC), and led by the Early Learning Challenge Advisory Committee which includes representatives from the Somerville Public Schools, SomerPromise, CAAS Head Start, Tufts University's Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study and Human Development, Somerville Family Learning Collaborative, Capuano Early Childhood Center, and Open Center for Children.
In 2017 SomerPromise, with the help of many community collaborators, expanded the Hub to serve youth of all ages and their families.
