Youth Arts Arise is a free after-school program for students ages 11 to 16. Participants can explore creativity in a wide range of artistic mediums and disciplines. Workshop themes encourage positive self-expression while exploring a multitude of cultures and traditions, embracing diversity while simultaneously working towards a better understanding of individual identity.
The Spring 2017 session for our after school arts program will run from March 29th through June 7th (excluding April 18th and 19th). The showcase will take place either on June 13th or 14th (TBA).
Workshops will run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:00 pm and the topics include:

Expressive Poetry - March 28 & April 4th
Knit Your Own Hat - April 11 & April 25
Symmetry Mandala Making - May 2 & May 9
Painted Vinyls - May 16 & May 23
Creative Journaling - May 30 & June 6
Wednesdays:
Your Dream Puppet Creature - March 29
Acrylic Pop Painting - April 5, April 12 & April 26
Sit Down Comedy - May 3 & May 10
Playmaking - May 17 & May 24
Exploring Our Dreams - May 31 & June 7
To register, you can either fill in the All LanguagesYAA Form, Spring 2017 or pick one up in person from the office.
